Travelocity postcards

This is a great idea:

Now you can turn any photo taken on your phone into a real postcard. And send it to someone's home from your phone. To anyone in the world. Not an electronic postcard, either. The recipient receives a real, hold-in-your-hand card with the picture you chose on the front, sent by us in the post (first-class).

They are not the first though. Back in Nov 2004 Fujifilm and Cingular launched a similar process, swisscom do it, Vodafone started looking at it back in 2003, T-Mobile are delving into it, PictureTrail sought it in the US, Club Nokia have not ignored it, but the fact that a non-mobile B2C and to top it all travel portal has taken it on board is fantastic strategic thinking.
